BonSecours Fall 2012??

I am applying to Bonsecours Memorial School of Nursing for Fall of 2012. I take the TEAS V on Jan 11 and I am really really nervous. Especially with the science section. What is the minimum score requirement for BSMCON on the TEAS? I have submitted all parts of the application except one transcript but I am nervous because I took Chemistry in freshman/sophomore year of college (graduated in 2009) and got an F but I am back in school and retook it and got an A. Hopefully they will consider the better grade... YIKES!

Anyone else applying for Fall 2012??

darussian5290 I got in too! what day are you going for orientation? I chose Nov. 19th! Do you have a lot of credits that are going to transfer over? I not sure how they work as far as schedules go..I'm SO glad we got in though! :)

My GPA was a 3.8 and I do not have a degree but I did some of my pre-reqs at JSR

I have the preq's done and A's in A&P. I hope that looks good. I am very concerned about the TEAS test. How was your experience? Did you study?

I didnt think i did that well on the TEAS at all lol... I got an overall score of 73..I heard they pay a lot of attention to your gpa and essay. Hope this helps and I hope you get in!!

Write a good admissions essay, get good references, STUDY your butt off for the TEAS!

We probably saw each other during Orientation because I went 11/19 too! I only have 3 classes left for pre-reqs so most of mine transferred. I will start NUR classes Fall '12.

I would HIGHLY recommend studying for the TEAS. I got an average score of 74 on Science, but my other 3 were above 90. They really consider your TEAS scores as one of the top indicators of your potential success in nursing school. Good Luck!
