  1. hey! I was wondering if you could share what your GPA, GRE, experience, etc. was. I know that VCU is ranked #1 in the nation so it has to be really competitive to get into it. What kinds of qualification make a person stand out? I know the minimum requirements from the website, but what are some things that I could do extra while I get my BSN that will make me more qualified?
  2. I chose the same block! We are going to see each other tomorrow!!! Even though you will probably see this comment much later. I can't wait to meet you! I can't believe we have been talking about this for over a year now and it is finally here!
  3. I am just now seeing this comment...delayed lol. Well, the Spring semester is just about over and we start NUR classes this Fall!!! I am so excited. Did you choose B1 or B2 for your classes? And I am Russian...hence the username lol...so you'll know who I am...somehow that fact always comes out haha
  4. Thanks!!! Congratulations to you as well! I am taking BIO 205 and PSY 200 (which unexpectedly didn't transfer from high school so I have to retake it...boo). If we start our NUR classes at the same time, then I am sure that we will see each other and probably know each other quite well! I am so excited but nervous about this whole experience. I know it'll be really hard but so worth it!
  5. I would HIGHLY recommend studying for the TEAS. I got an average score of 74 on Science, but my other 3 were above 90. They really consider your TEAS scores as one of the top indicators of your potential success in nursing school. Good Luck!
  6. We probably saw each other during Orientation because I went 11/19 too! I only have 3 classes left for pre-reqs so most of mine transferred. I will start NUR classes Fall '12.
  7. Write a good admissions essay, get good references, STUDY your butt off for the TEAS!
  8. Hey soulshine101, I had a 3.6 GPA and I do not have a degree, just some pre-reqs
  9. I've applied for Spring 2013 too! I am anxiously waiting on a decision. The admissions adviser told me that the decisions will be emailed out by the end of this month so that's 6 more days of waiting!
