Anybody apply or go to Bon Secours School of Nursing? I just recently applied and i was wondering if anyone has gotten an acceptance letter? And i was wondering what the average Gpa and teas test results for the school is!!
Hi all, I was wondering f you guys could update the thread on whats happing now....after test and interviews? I am applying after the summer because I have to take chem...but I am almost done with all the other classes. Just have A&P in the fall/spring. Do you think having these classes done gives you an advantage?
Thanks
If by pre-req you mean classes required prior to application (Chem lab, Algebra, etc.) that is a requirement prior to acceptance, and not really a factor for comparison. If by pre-req you mean classes that will be required during the program, then I'm SURE any of the curriculum classes you have completed will help. The advisor told me that because I did not have any (related and transferrable) college credits or a more recent grade history, they only had my TEAS score for evaluation.
(I'm going in cold - high school classes only) She did, however, encourage me to take 2 courses (like sociology, psychology, etc) this summer to lighten my load, should I be accepted.
I do not know the avg gpa.
I do know that for the fall, there are a little over 200 applicants for 100 seats.
Thanks! Let me recommened Dr. Plume at J. Sarg for Soc, and Dr. Riefsteck for Psy. Both are awsome teachers, and easy As...you will learn alot. Not sure where you plan on doing your pre-req, but just a thought. As for pre-reqs, i did mean most of the classes that are reqiured except the nursing classes. I have has everything except Chem, A&P,and Mth 120. It sucks that have to wait until after the summer to apply because of Chem!!! Anyone heard of nursingabc.com? They suggested it for Chem.
