BOCES LPN Students

Since this is more relevant to actual LPN students I posted this here as opposed to the gear board....

How many books do you take to class each day? I am trying to figure out what book bag would be best for me....What do you use?

I am trying to decide whether a large tote will do, a back pack or a rolling back pack. TIA

Most of the people in my class bring a regular backpack or rolling one. I always take my looseleaf binder and a big, fat book such as Fundamentals or Med/Surg, since we have it every day and it's like the 'bible' for nursing students. Then, if you want to take your other smaller books for nutrition, pharmacology, or whatever else you have that day you still have room... I also take some snacks & a drink, pens, pencils, highlighter & Advil

I use a regular Jansport backpack, but if you're the type who has to take every book to school just in case. Then you might want a rolling pack. Our class is about half and half. (I started out with a tote bag, but it was too small.)

Have fun :)

Hello,

I just graduated from a BOCES LPN program and most people used a backpack while a few used one of those rolling ones (These are a little annoying, people were always tripping on them in the hallways.)

I figured they were a bother....especially since I live in an area that snows! I will shy from the roller ones....thanks...good to know!

I start BOCES again on MOnday...i was in the course before (got kicked outta pn 2 for failing a pharm exam) but anyways i found that a large tote bag waz good for me.except when walking home,so i might go to the roller one. holla
