I know of at least 2 currently licensed LPNs who had 205 questions and passed. I also know some RNs who had max# questions and passed.

Yes I did, I had 205 Q's and passed. I will admit that by the time I got to Q's #150 I was starting to get nervous and started to panic because the computer would not shut off. Once I got to Q's #200 I started to cry, thinking I failed. Once I answer Q's 205 I was feeling like a failure, thinking in my head I FAILED. As soon as I got out testing center, I did PVT and got the good pop up and 3 wks later, got my results test and PASS!

Yes I recently got the full number of questions and passed. The number of questions is irrelevant as the computer will give you as many or as few as is necessary to determine your acuity. In other words, do not stress over the number because it is 50/50 no matter which way you look at it. Have you tried the pop up trick? Worked for me. Good luck!

YUP! I sure did! I was a wreck. When the computer shut off, i cried cause I just knew I had failed. As long as it kept going I knew I was still in the game. I tried to stay positive, and sure enough I had passed!! :)

The number of questions you get does not indicate a specific pass or fail. A candidate with a short amount of questions may pass or fail just as a candidate with a long exam. I have heard people who got 85 and failed. I, myself, took the boards twice. Both times, i got the max questions. Failed the first, passed the second time.
