How long did it take before you heard anything from board. I was fired for diverting meds in Sept. I have entered monitoring on my own. I have recieved letters from attorney general and know they have investigated. Just looking for some others experiences with this.
Wow. Praying for the best outcome for you! I’m not sure what’s going to happen with my license yet. I will know Oct 8. I consulted a lawyer. He suggested I go to the settlement conference, see what they offer and if it’s suspension - to hire him and he can get me something better. I'm willing to just take anything but suspension- if it’s suspension I will def fight it since Ive been sober so long and doing good at holding down a job. I’ve worked this whole time- just not around narcotics.

Good luck to you as well! The AG told me she believes I should be put on probation until the end of my RMA. Really? A year and a half later and now you think I should be placed on probation?! I could understand if this was last year but now, I find it ridiculous!

Yeah I think that’s ridiculous too! Like me- I’ve been working as RN this whole 3 years. So anything they do not other than monitoring is just crazy. I pray I don’t get suspended after all this time.

I begun this journey 16 months ago, self enrolled, criminal charges dismissed in February. Just got notified recently that the AG filed a complaint with BON. I emailed the AG asking why now. I was told because I sought treatment quickly they didn’t need to do a Petition for Suspension, but then they wait for criminal charges to be finished and then they do a complaint with BON. So now I’m waiting to find out the date I have to appear.
