BMCC Spring 2022

Published

Hi guys,

I am applying to the nursing program at bmcc for the Spring semester. I finished all my pre-reg except micro bio which I will be taking this fall. I am not sure if  I should apply for the day program or evening program, and was wondering if one is more competitive than the other. Also if anyone has any tips on how/what to study for the HESI I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

You can choose what sections you want to start with.

Reading passages were really short, which I was surprised by. The passages were only like 10-20 sentences max

Good luck!!

thats great I have to drop off my application with her tomorrow before my test.

Anyone know how many people applied to the program? Or how many people applied to the previous years? IDK if she Mentioned it previously or not

Also was able to see the class average on the elsevier site just now , its the average of the people who took it in the same room as you and the scores are -

A&P - 68

Reading - 76

Math - 67

In the last zoom I think she mentioned she had a total of 206 applications at the time and 60 of those were night, the rest were days.

Think there were a little over 20 people in the room

Used both Pocket prep and Nursehub, literally almost all of the A&P questions were pretty much word for word from one of those sites if not extremely similar.

OK awesome, did you study anything for critical thinking? I take mine tomorrow. Are you applying to day or night?

also the class average on Elsevier is fluctuating, I think it's the overage class average from everyone who takes the test at BMCC since theres people taking it right now.
