BMCC Spring 2022

Published

Hi guys,

I am applying to the nursing program at bmcc for the Spring semester. I finished all my pre-reg except micro bio which I will be taking this fall. I am not sure if  I should apply for the day program or evening program, and was wondering if one is more competitive than the other. Also if anyone has any tips on how/what to study for the HESI I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Congrats!! You’re for sure getting in with those scores!

Also do you remember how many people were in the room when you took it?

I took the test at 9am and I think there were less than 20 ppl in the room.

Can anyone update what's the overall average is so far?

According to the Elsevier site the class average is

Math - 79

Reading - 80

A&P - 76

critical thinking - 802

Do You guys know when she will let us know and also for GPA she going to calculate the one we filled in the form not the updated one ? After final exam for this semester

Anyone know when the last day of exams are?

Today is the last day I believe. Felt good about my score today. Hopefully it will get me a spot! 970 critical thinking and 96 overall

Congrats!! Looks like everyone in the sun so far got around the same score, looking good!

Hey guys, I took my HESI on Dec 3rd. Does anyone know how the cumulative score will work? Will critical thinking be added to Math, A&P and Reading?

critical thinking is added into the sections, I remember she said in zoom that its the cumulative score of all 4 sections and the PCI

Heads up guys, I got really curious today (procrastination mostly) and looked up prices of books for nursing. It wasn't pretty.... start saving up bc just the textbook and online access to do assignments will eat you up.

Fundamental of nursing LL- 50$

HESI 1st semester access- 267.25$

Nur 112 access code- 544.13$

Tuition: 8 credits, priceless

Source:bmcc bookstore, textbook required list for course

Btw total enrolled for fall 2021 was 30 day. 29 afternoon and 30 evening.
