BMCC Spring 2022

Published

Hi guys,

I am applying to the nursing program at bmcc for the Spring semester. I finished all my pre-reg except micro bio which I will be taking this fall. I am not sure if  I should apply for the day program or evening program, and was wondering if one is more competitive than the other. Also if anyone has any tips on how/what to study for the HESI I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I'm in..she's getting there one by one

Congrats guys. I'll be applying for the fall. I'm just wondering do you guys know the lowest PCI score so far for the day program. Everyone here has like a 4.0 and a 90+ LOL. Bunch of high achievers haha.

She said she won’t know lowest PCI til later on. She did say that no one gets in with lower than a 3.6, I got in with 3.8!

So I was wondering are we really going to be spending 100s of dollars in books out first semester? Give or take how much did you spend for those who took NUR 112?

Our*

Just finished my 1st semester, and our book bundle was over $700, prolly closer to $800 actually. I will echo what our 3rd semester friend shared with you all that it is IMPERATIVE you order your uniform right away. The company is SUPER slow with processing orders/shipping. Also, if you are in the afternoon cohort, buckle up for a bumpy ride. Remember, you are not competing with each other anymore, and the only way you can make it through the first semester is if you stick together as a unified team, sharing any and all information the Professor may relay (sometimes she only shares info with one person who is then supposed to update the entire class with any changes to schedule/assignments) and also sharing study materials. Keep records of all documents, bc as you’ve already seen, the department Is sloppy with keeping records, so you may be required to submit the same form two or three times.

Congrats and good luck! ?

Thank you for this too. Please, I'd like to know, where can we order the uniforms?

The Department will provide you with all the uniform ordering details - just don’t sleep on it. Order the day you receive the uniform info.

It is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS a bumpy ride at BMCC. I can't wait to graduate this Spring and get out of here.
