Bmcc nursing spring 2019 applicant

Hey there, i was just wondering if anyone is planning on apply to the bmcc nursing for spring of 2019.

Hi everyone. After years of reading the discussion boards it's finally my turn to make an entry. However, the discussion doesn't seem as active as it used to be. The Kaplan exam is set for December 3, 2018 that being said I want to congratulate everyone on making it this far and I hope we all pass and get in to the program.

Did they ask about diseases and like symptoms or treatment? Or like the parts of the brain?

Hi, for science, cardiovascular systems, flow of blood through the heart,urinary system functions, aging, neurology, electrolyte, movement of carbon oxide and oxygen. most of it was A&P 2. Math was the easiest, don't go so deep, equations, conversions, proportions, just the basics. writing was bit challenging, Practice sentence placements, subject verb-agreement,puctuations. good luck!

there was a question about the frontal lobe, can't remember any question about disease and symptoms.

That's an awesome grade- congrats!! I got 79%, 4.0 on my prerequisites, and 4.0 overall gpa (it could change due to the classes I'm currently taking, hopefully it doesn't lol). I think that they called you once the semester is over.

The new advisor said she doesnt see a call as an good way to let people know and that shes "probably" going to email people.

I have taken an exam today as well and had 80 %

Now does anyone know how much % is pre-req, Overall and kaplan? I would say 30%, 30 % and 40 but not sure!

I had a question that was something like which lobe is responsible for thoughts, reasoning and all 4 lobes were offered.

II also remeber there was blood flow of the heart, something about asthma(mucus was an answer) and there was a question about WBC, acid balance...

What about the reading part? What are the topics of the passages like?

Reading part was ok for me, reading the text and recognizing main ideas, themes, but writing part was really hard and I wish everybody whose not fresh outta high school a lot of luck lol

I am 3.94 in both, so Im happy and hopefull! but... a lot of people have a good gpa and a lot of people apply...

I feel you- so many good students applied! I was super happy with my result too (79%), but I still don't know if I'll get into the program. Hopefully we do! (fingers crossed)

ps: we wont hear from advisor before all final grades from this semester are out, so I think first week of January...
