Hello Everyone,
So I successfully passed the HESI, December 3, 2015. I would like to begin communication with other students who applied for BMCC Nursing program and successfully passed the HESI. The nursing department told me students should expect calls after New Years.
My HESI score breakdown-
Math 90%
A&P 88%
Reading Comprehension 82%
Cumulative average= 86%
Math 104+A&P1+English 101+Psychology100= 3.94 GPA
[ Consisting of 3 A's & 1A-]
I hope my HESI cumulative score along with my GPA is good enough for me to be accepted into the Nursing Program Spring 2016 Cohort [i applied for the day program]
Hello everyone, I plan to get through at least two chapters before Wednesday that was suggested in the packet. The first chapters I will attempt to conquer is Chapter 6: Health and Wellness and Chapter 28: Infection Prevention and Control. @YaquelynR was in both of my anatomy classes and she was accepted as well as myself. So I will be meeting with her after the orientation. If anyone else is interested in studying with us that does the reading for chapter(s) 6/28 is welcome to meet with us. Just a little FYI: This is my first nursing study session with others and it may not be the ideal or perfect study group but I will have my notes we can ask each other questions, etc discuss concepts and try to get a hang out this and I believe it is great practice/learning opportunity for whom ever decides to attend besides Jackie & I.
If interested you may email me: [email protected]
Which are u taking ? Because on the list it says " proof of bls for health care providers" I was taking that that class which covers CPR / AED . Also do you or anyone know when orientation is going to end or how long it is
I'm taking mine on Saturday.I took the class that covers Cpr/AED, I guess it what they meant under "proof of bls for health care providers".
.Did you call Heartstartny? I was looking at their website too. Which class are you taking? I was going to sign up for the Heartsaver CPR/AED. Do you know if that is the right one?
Yes that's the place I'm doing I talked to the owner of the place and he said its " bls for health care providers " also it says it on requires 2nd bullet point " proof of BLS for health care providers" which also covers CPR & AED

Thank you for the response. Because the total cost for the whole books will be more than 700$. What is the main textbook? Is this Fundamentals of Nursing(8th Ed.)?
