Bloomfield College Pre-Nursing Students

Hello To all,

I haven't been on this website for awhile feels good to be back . I just took my Teas Exam last week and passed thankfully. I thought I was going to get a higher score but I am still happy I passed. I have to wait until the middle of June to see if I get accepted to Bloomfield College nursing program for the Fall of 2015. I am excited and scared being that there is a lot of students to choose from, but I have hope. However, is always good to have a Plan B I have been struggling with searching for schools here in NJ that will accept my teas scores, if anyone knows some please comment below or have any advice it will be helpful. Has anyone already completed all of the things in the nursing package? and does anyone know how can I go about getting the nursing books besides the BC book store they are so expensive...

I feel like there's something I haven't done from the packet. I've done the medical forms, background check, signed up for CPR class . But I still feel like I'm not all the way ready. As for the books, I go to Chegg.com every semester. You can rent most of the books there for the whole semester. they're MUCH cheaper than the book store . I haven't found the lab books on there though, I'll have to look around for those.

Make sure all your paperwork is in a completed because the head honcho Dr.***** does not play any games and will drop you and will tell you guys this at orientation just a heads up :) stay compliant

@futurenursequana Wow , has that actually happened before ? About the background check, did they send you a message or anything letting you know when it was done or the results? I did mine early July and haven't received anything from them , should I call them ?

P.s. I know I was supposed to text you but it kept slipping my mind(work was occupying most of my time) also , my mom bought a Littman so I felt like it automatically came with the bell and diagram

It's ok lol yes the littmann comes with a bell and diaphragm. And it mostly threats she just wants everybody paperwork in to no run it issues. And you won't get anything related to the background check if you did they have it, what day is orientation I might be on campus that day

So far, I have completed everything I Just need to order my books.. does anyone know how long it takes for the uniform to arrive. I just received an email saying it will take about 2 1/2-3 weeks to be shipped. usually that is what they say but is much faster. All I need the nursing shoes, and BP Cuff. By the 24th is fine if we do not have the unforms, we should by the time we start classes correct? & orientation is business casual right?

I received my uniforms in less than a week once they sent me an email that it was shipped . All I need is the shoes and to order my books . They didn't say what kind of attire we should wear for orientation .
