I've noticed that there is one post from 2008 asking about Blinn nursing school. I figured I'd give this a shot anyways. I was accepted into the Blinn nursing program for fall 2010. I was wondering if there was anyone else on the site that was accepted into this program as well? Anyone in my class? Anyone with experience/advice about Blinn? I'd like to know what I need to do/buy and what may be more of a waste of money (like half of the books that I bought for classes in my bachelor degree were useless). Anyways, I hope to hear from someone! lol
They notify you about taking your TEAS after they've clarified that you have minimum requirements to apply. I got my acceptance letter to the program on June 2nd.
Take all of the prereqs if you can, do well in those classes, I pre-wrote my essay ahead of time and memorized it, and study for TEAS. The TEAS had reading, math, science (Chem, bio, physics, minimal anatomy), critical thinking, etc. I guess it's all the sections. I used the Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exam study guide and I scored in the top 99 percentile in the nation. I think it really helped.
Thank you for the advice! I will take my TEAS in about 2 weeks. I hate that they wait until JUNE... seems like forever and if I get into another school I applied to it will be a waste to take this TEAS and do the essay. Do you have any idea on the number that applied and how many spots are open?
Hi I've been checking on this feed for awhile. Im applying for the Spring 2013 semester. I currently have a 3.1 gpa and wanted to know from some of the students who have already been accepted if this is a good gpa for the program and what would you consider a good TEAS score and what was the essay over.... Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated!!!!
