Blinn adn 2015

I have been accepted for the Blinn Adn program that begins January of 2015. I have been registered for classes and have been working on getting all of my immunization records together as well as my CPR certification. I was just wondering if anyone who has been or is in this program has any advice regarding the books required. Do I have to purchase new books or can they be used?

I was accepted starting this August of 2015. I was wondering how everyone is liking the program so far? How is the first semester? Any tips or advice? I am so excited to start!

Congrats on your acceptance! I really liked my first semester! However, you do have to work really hard unless you are one of those people that understand everything without having to study! LOL It's very easy to fall behind, so stay caught up! It helps to have a study group too especially when things become stressful! & Study Nclex especially for foundations!

Thanks for the reply! I really hope to find a good group of people to study with. Are the classes pretty big? If they are, I don't know how to find study buddies haha. My understanding is that there are no clinicals first semester? I am kind of grateful for that. Some programs have the students start out in a nursing home (LTC facility). I am ready to start clinicals in different fields and start learning as much as I can. Is the program held at Blinn or are the classes at A&M? Sorry for all of the questions. I'm kind of impatient to wait for the information session and just really excited!

I was accepted and starting in August as well :)

Thats awesome! I can't wait!

I got accepted and will be starting in August 2015 too! Can't wait to meet my new classmates! :)

The Blinn nursing program is located at A&M health Science center off hwy 47. I graduated a year ago from the program and since then the program has changed a little (I was in a 5 semester program and now it is 4 semester) normally the first semester you'll have a meet and greet the Friday before the semester start so you'll be able to meet ur new classmates.
