I have been accepted for the Blinn Adn program that begins January of 2015. I have been registered for classes and have been working on getting all of my immunization records together as well as my CPR certification. I was just wondering if anyone who has been or is in this program has any advice regarding the books required. Do I have to purchase new books or can they be used?

Wow, you already got accepted? I was told about a week ago they wouldn't be sending them out until Dec. 18 or 19.
congrats :)
Thank you. They let me know about 2 weeks before thanksgiving. I've already been registered for the classes. I just need my CPR and drug test. Did you also apply to the program?
Yes I did. Really hoping I get in :)
Good luck!

I also got accepted into the program, and I have submitted all required documents. Any advice from anyone already in the program will be helpful. I guess I will see you all at the orientation in january.
I will see ya'll next year.
Do ya'll know anything about having to purchase scrubs or are those needed until the second year?
I have a feeling that I should have bought all the material I will need but I don't know the things to buy, so I will just wait till we have the orientation in january.

Looks like I found a few of my classmates on here! I talked to (leaving her name blank due to forum rules, but its the lady we turned our apps into) and she said that all of that information will be given out, and usually we can purchase our books, etc. at the orientation. Hope to see you all there!
Thanks for the info. I went ahead and purchased the books. I looked them up on the blinn bookstore site. I found a lot of them on other sites, much cheaper. I purchased about 4 or 5 at the actual store because I could not find them elsewhere.

I was accepted starting this August of 2015. I was wondering how everyone is liking the program so far? How is the first semester? Any tips or advice? I am so excited to start!
