I took them online from the same college. I also took BIO 201 in person as well, so I could see what I missed from the in person lab component. PC uses the cadaver lab, so I got much more from the in person class than I did the online version. If I were you I'd take it in person for the lab experience. I got A's in both the online version and the in class version.
I took 201 and 202 online at PC. I really wish I had taken them in a classroom because I think I would have retained the information a little better. I am actually quite rusty concerning the material. I am starting school at SCC in the Spring, so hopefully I can get a refresher before it starts. I got B's in both classes, which isn't bad considering the material is tough, but there is no doubt in my mind I would have gotten A's had I taken them in a classroom. Oh and the labs are weird online, I imagine they are much better in class.

I took BIO 202 online and then took it in person. I found both easy, but I felt like I was just memorizing the information and not retaining it when I took it online. I learn from doing and seeing. I would recommend doing the in person option. The labs are really informative and you'll get experience "looking inside the body" and all the BIO teachers at PCC are excellent. Good Luck!
uggggh...I survived the online Bio 202...and it was AWFUL!
I will never take a course through Phoenix college again.
The entire class was failing at one point because the instructor completely changed the syllabus, test format, grades, etc...
If anyone is taking it in the future and you have an instructor by the name of Leo...cancel the class!
:-)
Now I have to take Bio 205 online...any advice on that one?
I heard it was easier...?

I am starting Bio 202 via Phoenix College this weekend (online course).
Has anyone taken this?
If so, how was it?
I took Bio 201 last year...but couldn't actually memorize the materials as it was so overwhelming and too quick.
I ended up with a B in the class...but began to HATE Saturdays (test taking day online)...
Thanks for the help!
I work full-time and wanted to get my feelers out if I should go ahead or wait and take it in person?
