:smackingfHas anyone recently finished Bio 201 at Rio Salado? I am currently taking it and I am doing well but am getting ready to take the midterm and am nervous. I have read a lot of threads about the midterm and final for this class and there is so much detailed information in this book, and there is just no way to retain it all!!
I just wanted to see if anyone can give me any advice on what to study. I have spent many hours re reading the chapters, going over online lesson, etc but there is just so much info, didn't know if there is certain material covered more or were to focus my study time!
I have gotten pretty much no guidance from my instructor to help prepare me for the midterm, so frustrating!
I know there are 80 multiple choice questions and 4 essay!
I am thinking I will try taking Bio 202 through PC, sounds like it is more organized!
Please help!
Thanks

Sorry, I did not tk the classes at RS, but I do have some advice for your 2nd A&P class: Go to Amarillo College in TX. It has online A & P. Sign up for that, with Claudie Biggers. Amazing teacher, amazing classes!

I'm in the same course. The professor isn't helpful at all. I've been focusing on the course objectives. I have a funny feeling that some of the questions from our quizzes will show up there along with labs and additional questions from the games and flash cards.

One of the biggest problems I find with online classes is that the teachers don't seem to care much about student success/failure. (generally speaking, I've had a couple a good online teachers-but not many) It shows such laziness when the instructors ignore giving any instruction just because it is an online class.
All I can say is good luck. I know some people don't have a choice, but I'd avoid online science classes as much as humanly possible..
Good luck!
