BIO 201 at Rio Salado College

Hi Everyone,

I am retaking Bio 201 online at Rio Salado College to improve my GPA. There were some threads about this course from a few years ago, but I wanted to see if anyone has recently taken this course? If so, can you tell me more about the format? Was it very difficult? I read somewhere that there are essay questions..I haven't had to write an essay in years so i'm a bit worried about that! Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

I am currently taking this class online w/ Rio. I'm in the 16 class. We haven't had our first exam yet, but the instructor is pretty awesome. So far, keeping an A has been simple. Just make sure you turn in your assignments on time and study for your lab quizzes

Hi, can I take classes at Rio Salado at the same time as I take classes at gcc?

Yes you can! I took an online course through Rio Salado while I took a couple classes at Gateway CC.

I can't comment on Rios class, but I took Bio 201 through Central Arizona College online. (At the time, Central was the only one who offered it online during the summer). I had a great experience with them!! Everything was completed online ("labs", exams, homework, etc) and the teacher was super responsive to any questions asked. I highly recommend CAC if you need to complete BIO 201 online.
