Hey guys! Has anyone applied to Binghamton's Acclerated Nursing Program for Fall 2010 (aka BAT program)?? If so, has anyone gotten a decision mailed to them yet??? According to the status website my application was complete since the end of october and i believe it's rolling admissions. I haven't heard anything from them yet so im getting a bit anxious! haha Does anyone know when we should be hearing anything regarding our applications?
Thanks in advance!

Hey all! I realize this post is quite old, but I'm looking into the BAT program now (i'm a junior at Binghamton University). I was wondering if any of you guys can tell me what was your pre-req GPA and regular GPA. Also, do you think it's possible to enter the BAT program right after I graduate from Binghamton, even though I won't be finishing up my pre-reqs until the end of my senior year? Any relevant information would be helpful, since I'm looking into nursing after considering pre-med isn't my passion anymore. Thanks a lot!!
Thanks for the info Lindsay! I'll be waiting for that email and packet! I did my undergrad in Bing!! woot woot! haha...im finishing up my A&P and microbio prereqs this semester...I'll be keeping my fingers crossed too! Good luck to everyone who's still waiting!
hey islandbreeze, congratulations on getting into the program!! i was wondering if you can answer some of my questions. i'm an undergrad junior at binghamton university now and i plan to finish all my pre-reqs in spring semester of senior year, but can i still apply to the program during the fall semester even though i havent finished my pre-reqs? also, do you think it'd be possible to enter the program as soon as i graduate from bing? and what was your overall and pre-req GPA? any relevant info would be appreciated, thanks!!

Thats about right..The admissions counselor told me the BAT wouldn't be effected by budget cuts and the class size would remain around 75-80 students. If you were planning to apply as a traditional non accelerated student as a junior it would be cut down to only 5-7 admissions though, which is quite low for the program.
