Hey guys! Has anyone applied to Binghamton's Acclerated Nursing Program for Fall 2010 (aka BAT program)?? If so, has anyone gotten a decision mailed to them yet??? According to the status website my application was complete since the end of october and i believe it's rolling admissions. I haven't heard anything from them yet so im getting a bit anxious! haha Does anyone know when we should be hearing anything regarding our applications?
Thanks in advance!

I submitted my app for the May 2010 BAT a week before November. I've been told they just started to review applications so we won't be hearing from them until end of February. Guess we just have to sit tight and WAIT!!

I guess I'll be checking my mailbox nonstop in february then!!
I hope I get in! Thanks for the good luck wishes!

Hi everyone! I just got word back this week that I was accepted into the program. Good luck to all of you, and I'm excited to talk about it once everyone has heard back!
Congratulations Lindsay! It's great to hear that they are finally admitting people into the BAT program. Did you see any changes on your BU Brain after you log in to check your requirements? My page is still the same. Trying not to psych myself out! I hope I hear from them this week because I have to make a decision on another school!
Congratulations!!! I haven't gotten anything yet but hopefully I'll receive some good news in the mail this week! Around when did you submit your application? I dont remember if BAT was rolling admissions
Thanks guys! I submitted my application by November 1st. I suggest that if you have to respond to another school by a certain time, you call to find out.............
The lady told me that they are starting to send out packets once a week (I think that's what she said) and she is working on sending an e-mail with a link to everyone who is accepted, so that you can pay your enrollment fee, which I'm pretty sure is $300.
I also applied to University of Rochester, but am going to go with Binghamton - it's cheaper and they accept my AP stats. I would have had to retake it if I wanted to enroll in Rochester. PLUS, you get wayyyy longer breaks with Binghamton, which is a definite plus for me :)
Did anyone go to undergrad at Binghamton? (I did)
Thanks for the info !! Yes, i think i will have to call them and find out! I got my packet from Rochester last week. I will have to take out A LOT in student loans if I decide to go to U of R. Binghamton has a great nursing program and I get to save money! Keeping my fingers crossed :)
Thanks for the info Lindsay! I'll be waiting for that email and packet! I did my undergrad in Bing!! woot woot! haha...im finishing up my A&P and microbio prereqs this semester...
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed too! Good luck to everyone who's still waiting!

I was also recently accepted into Binghamton's BAT program for May 2010. I went to the University of Rochester for undergrad and don't know the Binghamton area well. Can anyone tell me about nice areas to live there? Is anyone looking for a roommate?
Thanks!
Congratulations! I still haven't heard yet and I submitted my apps early...getting kinda nervous lol
Hayes community is pretty decent and cheaper than living on campus..University plaza is very fancy and it has a gym, starbucks and other restaurants nearby and it costs the same as living on campus...that's all I know...sorry if I couldn't help you out much on that one
Did you find out about your acceptance by snail mail, email, called the school?
thanks
