Binghamton BAT program 2019-2020

Hi guys, I didn't see a discussion board for for Binghamton BAT program 2019-2020 yet, so i figured I would start one for those who are thinking about applying for this cohort. Is there anyone in the process of doing the application? Also, if any current students have any helpful tips to make your application more competitive or opinions on the program itself?

Binghamton's the only place I applied so far, and I suppose I'd go if I got in, but part of me feels like "I already have a bachelors degree, why am I doing this??" Lol I mean, I guess I always thought I wanted to be a medical professional, and nursing seems like the simplest avenue at this point. I've never worked as a tech or anything like that so I really have no clue what it's like to work in a hospital setting, which is problematic. Lol and I don't think home health care is exemplary of the nursing field at all! so I haven't found it very helpful for making a choice about a career.

Hi I applied earlier this month, I'm waiting to hear back but its killing me did anyone hear back yet?

Have not heard anything yet but I know last year they started sending out acceptances around this time, so the suspense is also killing me as well! Hopefully we will hear from them soon but they may be running a little late this year from what it seems.

So I emailed the admissions advisor, and he said "We typically review and release decisions during the two months or so after the deadline, 11/15. However, we are planning to begin reading some files soon."

I emailed an advisor as well the response I got was "As the deadline to apply to the BAT program is November 15th, we will begin releasing decisions around that time and into December and early January."

Has anyone heard back yet about a decision? Binghamton sent me the Tranfer Course Progress Report sheet a few days ago. I'm hoping once I send that in then maybe I'll hear back from them shortly after...
