I am applying to Binghamton's BAT program for 2017-2018. I will be graduating from Stony Brook University in May 2017. Is anyone else applying? Is there anyone who is currently in the program who can tell me what Binghamton admissions looks for? Thanks!
Hey everyone! Just wondering who else has heard back about acceptance into the program. Also was wondering what everyone's GPA was to see where I rank with everyone. Congrats to everyone, hoping to hear back soon!! I will be graduating from Brockport with my Bachelor's in Health Science in May and hopefully move to Binghamton to join you guys in the program there. Good luck to everyone :)
Hello Everyone! I also applied to the BAT program for 17-18. I live local, have a BA from SUNY Oswego and have worked for our local health department for the last 5 years. I am very anxiously awaiting my acceptance letter (putting positive energy out there). Good Luck everyone! I applied in late November and just finished my last pre-req last week. Grades just came in so I have sent over my transcript and hope they contact me soon. Merry Christmas to you all!
Hey Everyone,
I was accepted into Bing's BAT program on December 15th (like a lot of you). I'm coming the Nassau County/LI area of NY (like many Bing students). I took most of my pre-requisite coursework at SUNY Farmingdale (except for Lifespan Human Development at Nassau CC).
I'm just curious, what are people's plans for living on or off campus? I was originally planning to live on campus for Fall and Spring (and maybe for the summer also if I couldn't find anything nice apartment setup in Vestal or downtown Bing), but being that housing is so cheap in the area, I was wondering if anybody was looking for a roommate, or know of good off-campus housing close to the university? My brother is a Binghamton grad (2005), and I have a cousin who will be a junior next year, living in the downtown area with his buddies.
Best of luck to all of you who are attending the program!
Evan
Hi Evan,
I'm also wondering similar things. I graduated from Binghamton at the end of 2015 and will be attending the program next year.
I would prefer not to live on campus as it tends to be much more expensive. There are plenty of great options downtown.
I asked about a Facebook page for this reason. If people want to live off campus there's a bit more urgency in finding roommates and signing leases.
