Binghamton BAT Program 2017-2018

I am applying to Binghamton's BAT program for 2017-2018. I will be graduating from Stony Brook University in May 2017. Is anyone else applying? Is there anyone who is currently in the program who can tell me what Binghamton admissions looks for? Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I just sent in my fall semester grades two days ago. I only finished 5 prerequisites and GPA for is 3.96. So still five left for spring semester. I talked to a girl who's already in the program, I was told my chance is close to 0.

Hey All,

I found out 01/06 that I was accepted. I will be attending and likely living off-campus with some of you future BAT classmates. I doubt the FB group has been created this early as many of us are still awaiting decisions and Bing email addresses. It will probably be called "dson bat cave summer 2017" as it has been previous years.

I graduated from a SUNY school a few months ago, so all my prereqs were completed before submission of the application. Had a fair GPA- both cGPA and prereq GPA- and some volunteering experience at a local hospital. Submitted my app late September and got everything in mid October. Many students in the previous years got their final decisions Feb-Mar and even some waitlisted students became admitted.

I was accepted to the program in December! I am also wondering if a Facebook group has been set up so we can all get to know each other and look for roommates, etc.?

As I've said I am currently a student at Binghamton. If any of you are planning on coming to visit the campus, or coming to the open house and are interested in meeting up let me know! I'll be here all of the spring semester.
