I always worked, but I have kids and am a single parent so my school was paid for with grants.

I was able to work full time but only took one or 2 classes per semester. I worked where I went to school so it was a courtesy scholorship and I didn't have to pay tuition. Check around for similar situations. This was a large university with attached hospital, medical and dental school as well as nursing, public health, pharmacy, etc.

I have never heard of a part-time CRNA program. Are you sure you're in the right forum?

I guess I am not in the right forum. I got to the post of the main page that just gives newer posts, and never noticed what forum it belonged in. When the OP said, "grad school", not CRNA school it did not tip me off. Just plain grad school does offer part time opportunities. Sorry I stepped in the wrong forum.

LOL Dixie you make it sound like you stepped in something lol. Dont forget to wipe your shoes off! I understood what you meant though. I figured it was a different area of masters pursuit. No harm no foul :)

not sure of all, but my school offers a part-time program, although small number.. it is possible but why prolong the inevitable.. two yrs of pain is much more desirable than threee..... LOL
Which program is that?
u-pitt, carolinas healthcare program, and albany are the three that i know of. all are similar in that part time is dedicated to the didactic portion (the difference between 2 and 3 yr completion time). everyone attends the clinical components at the same time.
oh - I see - in that case I guess my program is part-timish too. I think all of the schools around here let you stretch out the classroom part a bit. I was thinking that your program was part time clinically too. I know a lot of people would be interested in something like that.

Albany is only full-time. (That's if you're speaking about Albany, NY).
nope, sorry.. part time for didactic.. last yr was the first (i believe).. there's a total of three at this time
