I'm interested in parish nursing and would love to learn more about it! I am an RN and have been interested in community nursing in a faith-based setting for quiet sometime. I just viewed the video and am excited to hear more!

Yes, I am a parish nurse and have been doing this for many years. I am connected to and employed by a health system, which is where I received my training.

If you are interested in becoming a parish nurse, I suggest to first find out if there are any parish nurses in your area. You can probably use the internet to do a search. Many times parish nurses are connected to an institution, such as a hospital or health system.

Parish nurse classes are offered by many universities/colleges as well as health institutions. The International Parish Nurse Resource Center has a list of some of these classes. But there are many others available as well.
