Bethel University Midwifery Program Fall 2021

Good morning,

Just wanted to reach out and see if anyone else applied to Bethel University's Midwifery program for Fall 2021 and would love to find someone to share this journey with or locate someone with some insight into the program!

Thanks. I definitely wasn't anticipating needing 9 books for the 3 classes I am enrolled in. I can see 2 each, but holy cow, I couldn't believe how many were needed. I also didn't want to rent them, because I figured they are good resources for the future, and we may need them down the line. Do you , or anyone else know if there is a facebook group or other online group for our cohort? It would be great to get one going for support, etc...I am super excited and nervous at the same time!! We need so many books! I've been in other grad programs that didn't need as many! I know I'll never go back and actually reference books because research changes so quickly so I'm just renting. I can always buy later if needed or just use up to date! I didn't see a page for us to network so I made one! You should be able to search Bethel Midwifery Students- Fall 2021 Start to find it! I'm obviously the only member right now but hope more join so we can all connect! ?

Hey, I tried looking up your page and it’s not showing up. I tried facebook and on here, any other option so I can join ? Also, 3 of the text books I am going to rent(since we won’t need them later on I believe) and 3 I bought(Witches Midwives and Nurses, Birthing Justice, and Anatomy and Physiology for Midwives) there is another 3 that we will actually need for some other classes so I will buy those as well (Williams Obstetrics, Human Labor and Birth, and Varney’s Midwifery). Hopefully this helps others out.
