Hi all - I've been reviewing the boards here for a while and thank you all for your detailed responses and information left. This board is awesome and has really helped me calm my nerves with respect to the admissions process at Beth Israel in NYC.

My apologies if a thread of this nature already exists - (i couldn't find one) -- Just wondering if any 2012 applicants are out there?? I am applying to the evening session beginning in January 2012.

I've submitted my completed package and scored an 89th percentile AD on the NLN PAX. I took the computerized version and was able to get my scores back immediately. The anticipation would have killed me otherwise. :nurse:

Anyway, I am eagerly awaiting a call or email from PBISON regarding the next step in the admission process which is the in-person interview. Fingers, Toes, and eyes are crossed!

Is anyone else out there applying for admission to the 2011/2012 entering class? Anyone further ahead in the process, perhaps you've had your interview already? I'm wondering how long to wait from the time I submitted my scores to the time of following up w/ the admissions board... I'm thinking 2 weeks is fair.?

Has anyone purchased books yet? If so, from where?

hi all! I've actually been following this thread for a while just to make sure I'm pretty much at the same page as every one else.

I know we all received the book list, but I was curious if anyone knows when we're supposed to be able to sign up for classes?

In terms of buying/renting books, I've looked into amazon.com and chegg.com (for possibly renting). The prices vary, and I feel like if renting a book is just $10 cheaper than the regular price, I'd much rather buy it. I'm thinking of going to the central library around my area to see if any of the books are available there.

Hi everyone! I wish i ahd checked this sooner. i was at Karpas last night, for Chemistry.. but had to run out at the end of the day as I had anotehr commitment to get to and being that we got out early, I was actually able to make it somewhere else! Wohoo.

Anyway, So far so good - Nice to be in the setting and what not. I hope to socialize a bit more w/ you guys tomorrow if any of you were there.

You have to take your picture across the street from where you were cleared. It's really around the corner. Thy print your ID then just bring the card to the school :)

ahhh crap! i totally forgot to do this when i got my clearance card. Do they actually need to see the clearance card in order to give you the ID? I will need to run by there again some time soon.

Also, I think i sat in front of you in Karpas yesterday. I saw you're in the FB Group and recognized you from class.

I'm a little confused by what classes we are suppose to be registering for tomorrow...any one from level I out there know anything?

I just got an email about online registration starting tomorrow. I'm even more confused now I thought they did it for us.

When I tried to see if my login worked, I saw that it says that we must pay for classes before we are able to register. I emailed ****** about it, hopefully I will get an answer in the morning. I thought they were just going to give us our schedules too :( soo confusing.
