Best Ways to Keep Alert?

What are your best techniques for staying alert and functional when you have to study a lot and don't get a lot of sleep?

I have been using 5 hour energy shots and caffeine, but I know that's not very healthy. Is there really even a choice, or do you just get used to being a zombie?

Has anyone tried those powders that you mix with water? I'm am addicted to The Crystal Lite Energy on the Go. It really gives me a pick-me-up during the middle part of the day. And its got B vitamins which really put me in a better mood. When I'm in a good mood, its easier for me to focus.

Oh and I found some of that Jolt Gum at walgreens - I've added that to my list of additions now! Way better than coffee!

i tryied that powder but the energy (strawberry) is way too strong tasting! it is soooo sour and sweet!

what i do, is when i have lotsa studing to do i drink the great big botle of pink vitamin water called "focus"
