I want to learn as much as possible about psych nursing before deciding to try it. What's the best book? Thank you.

Actually, any psych nursing book is pretty good for a general overview. Check Amazon.com or any other web based book store. You may want to go to your local college campus book store or nearest Waldenbooks or Borders or Daltons book store.....many carry nursing texts. Lastly, there are plenty web sites on psych that will give you a good overview....and it is free (even better).
Best luck to you and in your decision.
I just bought Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing: Concepts of Care in Evidence-Based Practice by Mary Townsend. I got the 2005 edition for $15 used.
