I'm from maryland, and am a new nurse working in Washington DC on a general medicine floor. However my dream job is a pediatrics unit/hospital, and I keep hearing great things about Texas. What are some of the top Pediatric Hospitals (or hospitals with a peds unit)?
oops i don't know how to delete that other post but here's what I meant to put:Both Texas Children's Hospital and Children's Medical Center made the honor roll in the US News & World Report rankings. The honor roll meant that the hospital ranked in each of the 10 specialties (only 10 out of 160 hospitals made the list).
Go to the bottom of the page and click on the hospital you want to see and they'll show where each specialty ranked.
I work at TCH and it's been such a great experience for me so far. And I must say our individual rankings are far higher than Childrens Medical =)
Good luck with your choice!
Nicely said. Texas Children's wins in Texas by a mile! and has always been 4th in the nation with one time 5th and 6th positions. I am not dissing other hospitals but just setting recods straight. I will be proud to work in any hospital on the honor roll, both TCH and CMC.

I vote for Driscoll Childrens in Corpus Christie! Worked there 5 years and would not have left except that they quit using travelers. It is an impressive place! And I loved living in the area.
