Hello All,
I am looking for a nursing program that is flexible and credible. Let's say I were to become a stay at home mom and needed the school to cater to a hectic lifestyle. I would eventually like to go into midwifery, but being that I am a business undergrad and graduate major, what would be the best school and program for me to go into? I have heard that there are two year nursing programs. Where are they? I don't want to have graduated from a program and turn in my resume only to be told that the school that I went to was a joke. Any pointers?
Future nurse hopeful
ps. What are some nursing programs/specialties that will pay well? Above $20 an hour? I am working full time now and am unsure if I can take a pay cut below $20 an hour.

Are you talking about trying to find an undergrad program online? Because if so I'm pretty sure you have to take it at an actual school I've never heard of an online nursing school for undergrad because you have to have all your clinical s and hands on experience.
I have spoken with two nurses that say I could do an online nursing program. I already have a bachelors in accounting and am currently working on an mba.

I think you will find online is only available once you have some nursing experience for example LPN bridging to RN or ADN bridging to BSN etc. I think you should check out the Distant learning forum here

You can't get your initial licensure from a distance learning format school. You need to have that initial clinical experience that is obtained in either a brick and mortar LPN or RN program. If you get an LPN license from a regular school, then you will be eligible for LPN to RN programs. Since you already have a degree, you might be interested in checking out accelerated BSN programs for people who already hold degrees.
