best masters in nursing programme

Hi everyone,

my name is Abhinay sunkara i am a registered nurse from INDIA and i cleared NCLEX RN for NEWYORK state.i came to USA for pursuing my masters in any nursing college in Newyork but college does not provided me admission due to lack of experience in USA even though i have experience from my country .So i joined Masters in Health service administration in Central Michigan University for my Masters in health service administration but i am interested in doing my masters in nursing field can anyone help me by providing any inputs regarding col in Newyork accepting Indian students for masters in nursing courses.thank you

Yes, thats' a given already and the assumption is that you do have nursing experience in another country, but were you able to make good use of that and parlayed that to being in a US environment?

Thanks for your help. I'm actually in the process of working on my personal goal statement and I'll make sure I'll incorporate my experiences in my home country and parlay it to being in a US environment .

AT first they told they will admit international students so i applied and sent all the required documents and send my wes report too but after evaluation which took nearly a month they said it is difficult to get admission as the course is highly competitive .

How long did you have to wait to know whether you were accepted or not?

Actually what I meant was having to being involved with a US hospital, US clinic or any sort of US medical facility, but you might be able to convince the school's evaluators under your goal statement, good luck!
