I did my clinicals at Montifore (Bronx) and Mt. Sinai and the nurses, aids, and the managers all appeared to be happy working on their units. Everyone supported and was accepting of nursing students. For the most part I think all the hospitals are electronic charting, but for salary go to the appropiate hospitals websites. NYPH~ Cornell has staffing issues, unhappy nurses a lot of complaints from their staff. I hope this tid bit helps you and good luck with your search

I have yet to run across an unhappy nurse at NYP-Cornell. Did you work here? I'm just curious about what you're basing those comments on?
YES, I did work there and depending on what deparment/ unit your on you will hear more grumbling from staff from the support staff, nurses and management. After your hired some managers you bearly see unless it's something major! :icon_rollThe hospital works off it's name but when you compare the benefits to other hospitals it's much better. This is my experience there I hope this answers your question.
