I'm coming to the 1st yr in Nursing forum to ask somewhat recent grads a question. Not sure if this the best forum for the question so if the mods think it belongs somewhere else, please feel free to move it.
Anyway, I am a brand new graduate nurse (LPN). We were given the Davis Drug Guide when we started classes 15 months ago. It was the older version of the book and a lot of the new meds aren't in it. My question is this, what drug guide did you find the most user friendly and helpful for your first year in nursing?
I don't really care for the Davis Drug Guide and really don't want to get the newest edition. Any suggestions for a drug guide that will most benefit me as a new grad?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I really like the Nurse's Pocket Drug Guide 2008 by Judith A. Barberio. It's small, fits in a scrub top pocket, and has tons of info. I can probably count on one hand the times I've needed drug info and it wasn't in this little book. Check it out. The publisher is McGraw-Hill.
