best book to study for the teas test

Iam try to get someone to tell me what is the best book to study for the teas test please help i already took the test and scored a 59% :crying2: iam a mother of a 20yr old and 16yr old and 3yr old granbaby i have had a horrible life but iam trying to make the best of it by going to LPN school and later becoming a R.N like my late mother that passed in 2000 to colon cancer iam the only child and divorced from my abusive X-husband anyway help please

www.atitesting.com has the study guides for the test. if you now what version of the test you are taking you can also look on amazon for cheaper prices. I took TEAS version 3.0/4.0 and bought the study guide for that from that website.

If you're taking the Teas 3/4 definitely find the McGraw-Hill nursing school entrance exam study guide and the ati study guide. Go to half.com-you'll find them for really cheap there!! Good luck! :)

Amazon.com: McGraw-Hills Nursing School Entrance Exams (9780071599375): Thomas Evangelist, Tamra Orr, Judy Unrein: Books

This was the book I used. I can't say it's the best since it's the only book I used, but it gets the job done. I studied a month before my test and just went over the subjects that I'm weak in. I scored in high 80's to mid 90's on all subjects.

I just got a letter from my school saying I have to take this test and I am freaking out! How much does the result of this test determine whether or not I get into the program?

Every school is different, but for me, it was accepted or rejection. I needed to get above national average on all subjects. They basically want to assess how ready you are for nursing school. They don't want to admit someone that won't be able to keep up.
