Last Thursday I was at the college for the purpose of collecting my Chemistry grade with some classmates. Apparently, there was a graduation ceremony for RN's going on that night as well, and my friends started talking to one student to ask her about the program. I didn't hear the entire conversation, but one of my cohorts told me the student had stated that ELEVEN people had failed out of NUR-181 alone during her course!
Now, there's always a chance there was some sort of misunderstanding or miscommunication, but does this sound right? For what it's worth, I would think the application process and competitiveness of getting in to the program would assure a strong student population, so it makes me nervous to hear these things. I already received some insight from someone privately, but I was wondering what the public population made of this info.
Thanks!
Wow, congratulations, UK girl! That's awesome - I believe you should believe it - I heard that you can see admitted before the actual letters go out.
Mine just says ready to test, but I honestly don't think I'll get in this year - got an 88 on HESI despite 4.0 average. Just keep trucking on! I'm very excited for you!
Where exactly does it say Admitted or Ready to Test? I had gone to a counselor to ask why I was reading that candidates webadvisor was reading differently than mine and was told it didn't matter. This is just frustrating, because I don't know how I will tell unless they change my major. I was hoping to have a definite indication before the letters went out next week.
if you log onto wedadvisor and go to "Prospective Students" (rather than "Current Students") you will see an option that says "Admission status" ---- click on that and it will show you if you are "ready to test" or "admitted". I wouldn't freak out yet if it still says "ready to test", because like I mentioned above, I think they manually update each students status, so it wouldn't be updated for everyone all at once. =)
omggg peace!! dont say that!! i have the same score as you!!!!!
let's both keep our fingrs crossseddd hun!!!!
UK GIRL!!!!
CONGRATS IM SO HAPPY FOR U AND I AM SOOO NERVOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I AM STILL TRYNA BE CONFIDENTT IN MYSELF>>
peace--- we did do pretty good !! we got a B+,,,, just not an A
o man u k girl u just made me sooo nervous now.. and happy for u !!
NO!!! Don't be anymore nervous than you were before!!!! Who knows how they update the status, it could be by name, by date that they received the application/curriculum change, date the test was taken....who knows! I submitted my change of curriculum change on Dec 4 and took the test on March 17th, so maybe that's why I was updated early - ya know?! Try to remain calm!!!!
