Hi-
Who's aiming for 2020 BCC Fall Nursing Program?
Let's share info and all ace the TEAS! And get into the program ?
I heard the proportion of the avg is based on 60% TEAS score and 40% GPA. Is this correct? For the GPA - is it only English and Science?
Also, which book is the most helpful?
I'm starting with Kaplan - as a lot of pple found this book to be helpful.

I think you should be fine! I know someone that got less on the exam than what you got with a lower GPA and got in last year. do you know more or less of what was on the exam for the science section?

From what I remember, it was mostly focused on the endocrine system. Trust me DO NOT GET CONFUSED. I confusingly made a mistake with one of the question, if it just says an enzyme that breaks down starch, that should automatically means amylase. Try not to get tricked by the product of the prompt. It is mostly about the endocrine and at least 2-3 questions about every other systems. Try not to focus as much on Chemistry unless you don’t know the rules on how to get the electron, neutrons, atomic number. Then bio, was more into the cell and organelle and their functions. I got a 76 on science, but got a 90 on my math
Hey Everyone,
I just found this forum and I'm pretty thankful. I am taking the test on 5/28 and have been studying like a mad woman. I see from the other people's comments that there is a focus on hormones and enzymes, which I am definitely going to review. Hoping for the best with this and appreciative of any tips and tricks I see on here. I recommend the ATI app, they have practice questions on there that I've been going through, and it's free.

I’m taking my exam on 5/28 as well. I’ve been using “science with susanna”, nursehub, ATI TEAS & ATI secrets book. for math, Brandon Craft on Youtube! good luck with everything!

It's hard to tell since there are different versions of the test, but I have the book if you want to check it out yourself I can email you a copy of the practice tests.

Hi guys, I did bad in the practice exam a&b. Especially in the reading sections. I’m freaking out guys. I had trouble understanding the passages. I read so slow too?. So the actual exam is harder than the practice exam? I’m definitely failing it. On the math I did okay but the word problems get me ?.
