Bergen Community College 2020 Nursing Fall (day-time) Program

Published

Hi-

Who's aiming for 2020 BCC Fall Nursing Program?

Let's share info and all ace the TEAS! And get into the program ?

I heard the proportion of the avg is based on 60% TEAS score and 40% GPA. Is this correct? For the GPA - is it only English and Science?

Also, which book is the most helpful?

I'm starting with Kaplan - as a lot of pple found this book to be helpful.

Hi, purchased the test for PSI center too. I scheduled my test for Lyndhurst (5/19), the website said they will be reopened after 5/15 but who knows? I just had a chat with ATI customer service. They wanted me to email Admin and ask for refund. We don't need to pay for it again. Here's email address: [email protected]

I'm also scheduled for the exam at Lyndhurst. I just spoke to an agent and she said the money spent on PSI will be refunded and due to COVID, it will take up to 60 days. So basically we are going to have to pay $115 to take the exam at home.

Hey guys! Is anybody taking the exam at home for May 28th? If so, what materials have you used to study and how long have you been studying for?

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm taking the exam on the 28th. I'm freaking out?!! @latte18 for the math section what kind of question did you see? Also, was the reading section hard? English is not my 1st language and I'm having trouble understanding the passages. Please advise, thank you.

I'm taking the test tomorrow, but I did took it 2 years ago. I found it easy IF you studied. On my first try I didn't bother to study for reading, English, and math which was a HUGE mistake. Make sure you study those sections too especially English. For the math section go to Brandon Craft's channel on Youtube, he explains step by step how to solve math problems found on the TEAS. There were percentages, equations, fractions, word problems, and convertions. For reading go to Carolyn McAllister on Youtube. She explains how to find the main idea, author's tone and several things you need to know for the TEAS. As for English go to English Lab on Youtube to review type of sentences, punctuations, and subject-verb agreement. Good luck!
