I thought I would start this thread so we can exchange information and experiences while applying to the Bellevue College nursing program! I saw that forums have been created for previous years and have been helpful for those applying!

We buy them once the books become available through the bookstore. There was a rep from Elsevier who talked to us about ebook bundles, etc. The three we have this Fall are the VA, Nikkei Manor and Mt. Saint Vincents. They said that Seattle Children's and Harborview are possible placements in the future.

How many days a week is clinical? Two 8 hours/a 12 hour? And how many days a week is class/lecture/lab?

I think they said 6 hour days but I could be wrong. For us it's 2 days a week. Half of us are Monday/Tuesday the other half is Thursday/Friday. Class varies. It looks like 2-3 day a week. We don't know anything about our skills lab but we will once all the schedules are finalized.

Has anyone in the Winter cohort heard when our orientation is, or know how they'll contact us about it since it wasn't in our acceptance letters?

I'm sure it will be emailed to you guys. That's how they have been communicating with us for fall quarter. From past years, I don't think orientation for Winter is until October or so, so you have plenty of time :)

I haven't heard about orientation yet for Winter Quarter. I hoping we'll hear by the end of July!
