Hello everyone,
I have just applied to Bellevue College for Fall 2012/Winter 2013 and I just want to hear from anyone who has also applied there. What are your TEAS scores? Do you guys know when we will hear back regarding acceptance/ rejection letters? Is Bellevue College your first choice or are you guys spreading out your applications to other schools?
Congrats downton! :w00t:
Did you do any preparation for the e-write before you went? When you talked to Chie, did you just turn in your copies of your CNA paperwork along with your e-write score? Sorry for all these questions but I am going to take the e-write tomorrow morning and am also planning to talk to Chie afterwards.
Congrats again! You're now official :)
I didn't have anything with me. I went to the office to turn in the form and asked to talk to her. I just asked if credential needed to be current, and she said no. I think we're supposed to show our CNA paperwork by the first day of class. I think they just want proof that you've taken the class in the past, for experience.
Congrats, Jammin! Personally, if I were in your situation, I'd take the first one I could get into. It's getting so competitive to get into the programs around here, that I wouldn't take any chances. However, hopefully you can talk to Chie, explain your situation, and see what she recommends. What is LWIT's deadline in regard to? (would you lose out if you accepted at LWIT and then later changed your mind if you get into BC?)
Answered my own question - sort of. Emailed Chie and she said that after May 11 we'd be getting letters about information sessions. She said the first one will be June or July and the second one will be on the first day of classes. Good, that gives me a little bit of time for schedule planning!!! Downton, great job!!! Congrats!
Done with my e-write...yay! So happy to have it over with!!!
jammin jewel~ congrats on lake washington! that is fantastic! do you have some time before you have to respond? if bellevue is your first choice over lake washington, i would wait as long as possible to commit to LWIT to see if you move off the wait list, but I certainly wouldn't let the opportunity expire based on the hopes of moving up the wait list. go for the sure thing! would you start in the fall or winter quarter at LWIT?
Yay! Congrats rnjenn! I also took the e-write today and got 11/12.Congrats also to jammin jewel for getting accepted to LWIT. It might be worth it to see if you could just tell them that you are accepting your spot there and when you find out about Bellevue, you can then decide if you'd rather pursue Bellevue or stay with LWIT. But at least, you're not left with no options if Bellevue doesn't work out. Best of luck to you!

Hey guys!
So I finally got around to taking the e-write and got an 11/12. Happy to be done!
And I talked to Chie about the CNA credential numbers expiring. You don't need it to be current, they just need to see your certificate of completion, etc. She strongly recommends keeping it up to date for job purposes though.
