Published

hi..

i just got my bachelor's degree in nursing here in the philippines.. i'm planning to apply for nclex in nevada so i can work there as a nurse and i was just wondering if it is a requirement in nevada to have a license in the country of origin...because in some states they do..and if ever they require it in nevada,is there any other states in the US where they dont require a license from the country of your origin...

thanks and godbless

They are not even going to do a thing with your application until they receive the CES report from CGFNS. They will not process it or do anything with it, that is why it is always best to get these type of things done first before submitting to any BON.

Whatever else that you do now, do not under any circumstances pay the fee to Pearson-Vue and register with them. You never want to do that as a foreign grad until you know for sure that your credentials have been accepted by the state BON.
