more than 3 months ago, i received a letter from crnbc saying that i should undergo sec assessment at kwantlen. like most of other iens here, i didn't really know what to do as i have no idea what sec was. i've read almost all the threads about sec and still felt like i needed to know more. i've read the ien and sec fact sheets over and over and i still wanted moooore information. until the day of the assessment came and i still am clueless as to what i should expect.
day 1 passed and i went home feeling brain-drained. i felt like the written exam drained every piece of nursing knowledge there was in my brain, maybe because i havent studied enough and it's been years since i read a medical book. then day 2 came and i was given a hypothetical patient in a hypothetical situation. my mind went blank for a few moments but i tried to do the best i can. i just wanted to get this over with.
almost 2 months have passed and i still havent heard from crnbc. i dont know if i did good or bad. i just wanna know how i did so i can move on and make plans on whether i should pursue my dream of becoming a nurse here or just stay home with my beautiful daughter.

Also to add if you are going to apply for PR then English exam is currently required even if English is your first language, not sure for work permit without checking the CIC website
