Becoming a nurse with an expunged record

Hi all :)! So glad I stumbled upon this site while doing my research. Let me give you a little bit of background info in hopes y'all can assist me. I am about to complete a drug court program (in Mississippi) which will expunge 3 felony charges that I got about 4 to 5 years ago. An ex boyfriend continuely asked me for my Adderall prescription and it turns out he was a CI ( criminal informant). I was luckily given the opportunity to participate in my local drug court which seems like the perfect option considering my DREAM is to become a nurse. While my record will be fully expunged I have been told that people will still have access to my fingerprints. I have no problem speaking to nursing schools and board about my situation but I fear with a controlled substance charge it will be difficult to get in, regardless of the circumstances. I am relocating to Florida soon, if that info helps with Florida's board and rules and schools. If anybody has been in this situation or can give me advice on how to proceed please help! I'm worried even though I have done my time and the work in order to be expuged, I still won't be able to fulfill my dream. Thanks in advance for any advice!
