So I'm working on my application to UT-Memphis, and they sneak in, in tiny letters, a requirement that everyone complete BCLS certification when they apply! (I have until this summer to get it completed, but I have to show that I'm registered to take it by Jan) I asked them where I can take that locally, and they said either Baptist or Methodist. I have searched online to no avail. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Check online with the American Heart Association or the Red Cross to find out local folks who teach it. Make sure that you are taking BLS for Healthcare Providers and not the other courses.
Thanks a bunch! I found a class through the Red Cross and will be taking it this weekend.

you might make SURE your school takes the red cross one. My school required the AHA version..which is also what is taught at my hospital too.
I did call the school to be sure.... my luck the person who told me 'yes' wasn't qualified to answer the question! I'll give it a shot, anyway.
