BCIT January 2018 Intake

Published

Hello everyone!

Now that the 2018 January applications are open, I thought that a thread should be started about it.

To those that are wondering, I'm applying with:

A&P 1 - A-

A&P 2 - A-

Psychology - A-

English - A-

Physics (elective 1) - A-

Philosophy (elective 2) - B

So, overall I'm applying with a 3.55 GPA. I have no previous degree, or relevant work experience. However, I do have relevant volunteer experiences.

I'm so nervous about my chances getting in. How are you guys feeling? What are your grades like?

Good luck to us all! :)

Hopefully we won't have to wait until the 31st to find out...:(

i really hope not! anyone been in contact with nursing department?

I'm thinking of sending them an email, but I've already sent them so many regarding other things.

They stated in the pdf (the one we got before we do our questionnaire) that everyone will know their final status on oct 31 so i guess that's the date we will have news.

They usually send rejection letters first, like few days before deadline. Really nervous rn í ½í¸±í ½í¸±

Hmm, interesting. I've heard that it was the other way around.

They do usually send out emails within a few days, and not all at once. So, if they're doing that this year, that means they have to start sending out the emails by Monday.

I think it's the other way around. Last round everyone was getting their acceptance letters but my status wasnt changing. Soon after it changed to "non-offer"

i read last year the acceptance letters were first

UPDATE: i sent them a message and they said monday is likely the soonest we will be notified of our status

Thanks for info. Now,I can concentrate on my studies, no need to check email until Monday. Thanks

You're welcome!!
