I graduated from BCC in 06" great school I hated it while I was there but now that I've been working and have seen other nurses from other schools I"m glad it was so hard it makes working so much easier!
Yeah I have heard that is hard but it is worth it.. I currently work at cleveland clinic now as a nursing assistant and Im hoping that will help me out.

I graduated 07
I agree! they made us go thru really hard times, the teachers during clinicals (when the lecture teacher was my clinical teacher) made me feel very nervous and always made me question my skills.
But talking with my other ex-classmates now that we are working, all of us are very comfortable working as RN's.
my class graduated 11 students out of 50.
My class started out 74 (largest class BCC ahd done to big if you ask me) we graduated 15 of my orignial track

North Campus starts much larger. My class started with about 125.
that's why bcc or now bc makes the best nurses!:lghmky:

Failing students does not necessarily means that you are producing good nurses. I have seen students from Broward college who do not have a clue as to what is going on presently when it comes to skills. I believe instructors should work with students to do well and not to compete to see who can fail the most students. I believe those teachers have to fail students to feel important and wanted and they like to see tears.
I may be wrong but I think BumbleBeeRn was making a joke.
:hhmth:i was just joking, everyone-- no matter from what school, with a good preceptor can be a great nurse. I have learned so much working this year than I ever did in nursing school--- but to me, eventhough BCC was hard, and the teachers were not so great, it was a good foundation for me to become what I am today :WHCk:
Kaplan ADN student,
how is online school going so far??
I am doing well in the online RN-BSN program at FIU. I find online learning not that bad-- one thing I am doing, that I should not be doing is slacking and doing my assignments at the last minute! since I don't have to drive to campus to do them, I am getting kinda lazy!!
how do you get to do clinicals??
Thanks for asking. The online courses are great but one has to be very dedicated. We do our clinical rotation at West Palm Beach. I will be graduating next year. I have to take only four classes next year.
