BC SEC assessment

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone who has already completed the SEC assessment in Langley, BC could give me some advice on what to expect and how to prepare?

I am a BSc Hons nurse from the UK. I've been qualified for 12 years and worked in A&E for most of that so the prospect of doing general medical and surgical nursing assessments is quite daunting!

Would be nice to gear from someone who has completed it recently,

Never had to do it because I was educated locally.

But med/surg assessment shouldn't be any different from an assessment in emerg. Vitals, air entry, lung sounds, belly assessment. Refresh your knowledge with a good med/surg textbook.
