Hi everyone,
I'm a prospective RN student from the Fraser Valley, BC, Canada. I'd like to move to Ontario after nursing school, and I'd like your input on whether or not I should attend nursing school in Ontario or BC?
Also, how difficult is it to work as a nurse in Ontario if I attend school in BC (I'd prefer either nearish Ottawa or the St Catherines/Niagara region)?
Are there hurdles or roadblocks I should be mindful of?
Any and all advice or feedback is appreciated, I don't mind if this gets off topic a bit.
Thank you kindly in advance.

Many of us from Toronto are dying to move to BC. 1) amazing scenery 2) no jobs in Toronto. Why would you want move to Ontario, this flat land lol?
Thank you to whomever pointed out my inappropriate username to admins. My apologies if I've offended anyone, it's being sorted out presently. 💙
BC is gorgeous, but it's very expensive. I have family in Ontario, and I love your 4 seasons. í ½í¹‚

There isn't a shortage of new grads in Ontario there is a surplus. If you go to school and become licensed in BC and hope that you will receive a job offer in Ontario, while you are still living in BC, you will likely be waiting a long time (if ever) to see that hope realized.
I appreciate your input. Thank you.
