Hello, I am trying to get into the fall 2011 LPN program at Baypath Tech and was wandering if anyone else is to. Also wanted to know if anyone on here has been through their program or is currently going through it and how it is. I have taken my Teas V in November and passed so I am waiting for them to send out their application packets in January. Any Info would be appreciated, Thanks
I remember who you are. I think you spoke about the other school the day we were there. When I called about the applications in December, the girl I spoke with said that the references you choose had to fill it out and mail it back themselves but I did not get mine yet to see it. Maybe I will get it tomorrow because I'm in Connecticut, it may take one day longer. Thanks for letting me know. Good luck with everything! Keep in touch if you get an interview.
I'm sure you will get it today, then. I'm starting to fill it out and request my transcripts from college and high school. On the front of my application, it says I have until March 1 to get everything done, which is plenty of time. It says that you must have the entire application completed (which includes that your references have filled out the forms and mailed them in, too), so I won't be calling for an interview for at least a few weeks, I suppose...
Hi! Good luck on the test! I personally thought it was difficult, but I guess it is meant to be!I took the earlier version of the TEAS over the summer for Quinsigamond and passed that, too, but I did think that version was not as difficult as the version Bay Path used. Did you get the Study Guide for Version 5? I have the study guides for both versions, I think it did help because I had an idea of what types of questions (and the way they would ask the questions). I *think* that's what they had said, about 26 people, but don't quote me on that, lol. Where are you from? Good luck on your test!! :)
Yes I did get the study guide version 5 and the online practice tests, and have been really studying that...I am from Chicago, there are like only two LPN schools here(and therefore they are hard to get in),so i had to start to look elsewhere, If I do get accepted i will be moving there(i have family there). Which section would say was the hardest? And if you did take the online practice tests..was the test exactly the same like as far as the same type of problems...... but with different numbers or? Thanks a lot:)
hello lolabunni56, I have only taken the teas v and I also thought it was tough but I have also been out of school for a long time and fortunately I did pass it the first time. I bought the study guide from ATI and felt it was a big help. I thought the book was similar to the real test and think I would not have done near as good without it. Good luck to you and welcome to New England.
I feel like a crazy lady waiting for the mailman today! I have a ged, and I have the transcript that came with it. I am wandering if that is what I am going to need to send or if I will still need to get info from my high school.
I know that for high school and college transcripts, they want them sent directly to them from the school (to prevent any tampering), I don't know how that works with GED's? On the application it says, "please have your official high school transcript, or GED, and any college transcripts sent directly to the Practical Nursing Program". So I'm assuming you'd need to have an official copy sent... I'm sure you will get your application today or tomorrow :) I havent heard back from any of the people I'd emailed about filling out my reference forms yet..

Hooray I received my application today and already working on things.
Mamabear, I have a question for you... Was the FAFSA difficult? Did you do it online? I get the GI Bill but I was just wondering about FAFSA because I'm not sure if the GI Bill will cover a private program and want a back up plan..
I thought the FAFSA was quick and easy for the most part. The only thing is that I had to estimate the income tax because of course its to early so when I called Federal Aide about that they said it was not a problem. I just have to go back after I have my taxes done and correct what is not accurate. You need to have some info ready, last pay stub of the year, drivers license #, I had my 2009 tax return to refer to and alot of real basic questions of course you will know the answer to already like ss# and personal info. O and yes I did do it online, they prefer it that way.
Mamabear, did you receive your application?Lola, how was the TEAS?
Yes I did. I was wandering if we can go ahead with taking a CPR class or if that is something they will want us to take there or at a particular place. Do you happen to know? I was also wandering how lola did with her teas cause I know she was nervous.

I took my CPR for Healthcare Providers over the summer, so I already have mine... I don't think they require you to take it at a certain place, no. Wouldn't hurt to email them to ask about places to get it.. I got mine through my college.
