does anyone know how many NICU spots are available at Mclane Children's? I have a virtual interview this Friday with the leadership panel from NICU

I had an interview with them on Tuesday, I didn’t get an offer unfortunately, but they seemed so nice!! I had some technical issues with hearing them as they asked questions, so I hope they fixed that by the time you have your interview!! wish u the best!

Has anyone accepted offers at BUMC? For ICU or any other units? Just wanting to see who else will all be at orientation.

Did you receive an email? I got a text message Tuesday and responded to it but I never heard anything back.

Has anyone accepted an offer at Baylor Scott and White Heart Hospital- Plano? I just accepted a job offer!  I’m looking forward to starting ❤️

The recruiter reached out to me by phone and then set up an interview.

Will Baylor reimburse you for NCLEX fees? I know the hospital I currently work at does and I didn’t want to ask in my interview LOL.

Anyone have any idea about the patient population for medical ICU? Is it mainly covid patients? I’m hoping covid gets better by the time we start but I’m curious about what kinds of patients would the MICU would see.

I’ll be in the MICU. It is mainly Covid patients but could be other types here and there.

Which location are you working at? I can’t speak for all locations but MICU at temple has separated out from the COVID ICU(in the APSICU). I’ve heard / seen New grads are precepting in both so you’re not just learning about COVID patients. But it could all change depending on the patient population.
